Hongdae Date Night: The Perfect Yeonnam-dong Couple's Evening

Myeongdong is for shopping, Gangnam is for flexing — but Seoul couples actually date in Yeonnam-dong. Park, dinner, bars, night walk: all within ten minutes on foot. Here is the evening, timed and tested.

# 18:00 — Golden hour at Yeontral Park

Start on the grass of Yeontral Park, the railway-turned-park at Hongik Univ. Station Exit 3. Convenience-store beers, street musicians, the city exhaling. This is the warm-up scene of every Yeonnam date.

# 19:00 — Neon dinner at RAWISM

Three minutes from the park, duck under the neon. The order that never fails: mungtige (200g Hanwoo, ₩45,000) + one yukhoe + two highballs. The grapefruit and Earl Grey highballs are the date-night favorites, and the 2005 mini-hompy themed interior turns every angle into a photo.

The park benches under the trees do night-view duty. Last trains leave Hongik Univ. Station around midnight — comfortably late.
